Voice Overview

You can use Podium Voice to see missed calls and voicemails in your inbox, prompt customers to text while they’re waiting for your business to answer the phone, and turn on missed call forwarding. These three pieces work together to make sure you don’t miss out on potential sales or other opportunities. Learn how to set up Voice for your business.

Missed Calls & Voicemail

With Voice, your customers are able to call your Podium phone number and leave voicemail messages. If you happen to miss a call from a customer, you can see their missed call, listen to their voicemail message, and respond right in your Podium inbox, making it easy to either call the customer back or quickly respond with a message.

Prompt Customers to Text

Additionally, you can use a pre-recorded message to prompt your customers to send a text message. When you prompt your customers to text, your customers are given the option to receive a text message from your business instead of waiting on the phone when they call your business. Missed Call Forwarding

You also have the option to forward missed calls from your business’ phone number to your Podium inbox. By forwarding these missed calls, you’ll be able to seamlessly manage these interactions that would otherwise have to be handled outside of Podium.

Note: Voice is available and automatically enabled for all accounts in the U.S., Australia, and Canada. However, if you have gone through the process of making your landline textable, you will not be able to use these Voice features. To find out if your business is able to use Voice, please contact Product Support by logging into your Podium account and initiating a livechat.
