Filtering Reference Guide

Filters enable you to better target and manage your contacts in order to keep your communications relevant, easy-to-organize, and personal. The different categories cover the various ways that your contacts can interact with your business through Podium. 

Right now, filters are only available when targeting an audience in a campaign. This article will update when they’ve been released to other areas in the Podium platform.

Below is a detailed guide of all the filters available today, and what each filter means.

Campaigns

Individual Filters What does it mean?
Has Received

A contact has successfully received (i.e. been delivered) a campaign message from your Podium number

Hasn’t received A contact hasn’t received a campaign message from your Podium number
Has clicked a link in A contact clicked a URL in a campaign message they received
Hasn’t clicked a link in

A contact didn’t click a URL in a campaign message they received

Has responded to A contact sent a message to your business within 5 days of receiving a campaign
Hasn’t responded to A contact hasn’t sent a message to your business within 5 days of receiving a campaign

 

Locations

Individual Filters What does it mean?
Is subscribed to

A contact is currently subscribed to receive campaigns from your business locations(s), either directly via one of Podium’s opt-in methods (i.e. sign-up page, Webchat, etc.) or via a past CSV upload

Isn’t subscribed to

A contact is not currently subscribed to receive campaigns from your business location(s), either directly via one of Podium’s opt-in methods (i.e. sign-up page, Webchat, etc.) or via a past CSV upload

 

Opt-In Methods

Individual Filters What does it mean?

Opted in through

A contact subscribed to marketing texts from your business through a particular Podium opt-in method, like sign-up pages, keywords, and more

Didn’t opt in through

A contact didn’t subscribe to marketing texts from your business through a particular Podium opt-in method, like sign-up pages, keywords, and more

 

Payments

Individual Filters What does it mean?
Has made a payment of

A contact submitted a successful payment to your business through Podium Payments (i.e. the payment status = ‘Paid’)

Hasn’t made a payment of

A contact has not submitted a payment to your business through Podium Payments

 

Reviews

Individual Filters

What does it mean?

Has left a review on

A contact submitted a review on any of the review sites that you’ve connected to Podium
Hasn’t left a review on A contact has not submitted a review on any of the review sites that you’ve connected to Podium

 

Tags

Individual Filters

What does it mean?

Includes any of these tags:

A contact is tagged with any of the following tags in Podium

Includes all of these tags:

A contact is tagged with all of the following tags in Podium

Includes none of these tags:

A contact isn’t tagged with any of the following tags in Podium

 

Webchat

Individual Filters

What does it mean?

Has used Webchat

A contact sent a message through Webchat on your website

Hasn’t used Webchat

A contact never sent a message through Webchat on your website
