Sending a Campaign

Marketing is all about sending the right message to the right people at the right time. When you’re deciding the best time to send a campaign, you’ll want to consider these factors:

  • Timing: Make sure you’re sending the campaign at an appropriate time of day to comply with rules and regulations. Typically this is between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. local timeーdon’t forget to consider time zones. You’ll also want to consider your business hours so you can respond to messages promptly. 
  • Frequency. No one likes spam, so make sure you’re not overwhelming your customers with messages. Be aware that Podium limits you to sending four campaigns per month to a subscriber.

After you’ve decided when you want to send a campaign, and you’ve completed the other steps (creating a campaign, selecting subscribers, and writing a message), you’re ready to send.

To send a campaign:

  1. If you previously saved your campaign as a draft, click Edit. Campaigns_-_Edit_Draft.jpg
  2. If you’d like, you can send a test version of your campaign to yourself. That way you can make sure it looks good before you send the actual message to your subscriber list. (The test message will be sent to the phone number listed in your user profile.)Campaigns_-_Test_message.jpg

  4. If you're sending the campaign to subscribers from an uploaded list, you’ll need to confirm that you have prior express consent to send them promotional messages. Accept the terms and conditions and click Send now.Campaigns_-_Send_CSV_-_Legal.jpg
