Managing Your Notifications

Responding to reviews, feedback from customers, and messages from leads in a timely manner is an important part of creating a great customer experience. You can tailor your notifications to alert you about events that matter to you. Depending on the type of notification, you can receive alerts on your desktop, through email, or in the mobile app.

Turning on Email & Mobile App Notifications

  1. In the top-right corner, click your profile image or initials. Then select Notification Preferences.Notifications1Redo.png
  2. Select whether you'd like to receive notifications about messages and conversations by email, in the mobile app, or both.NotificationsMessages.png
    Attention: An email notification for a new customer message is sent only if the message hasn’t been responded to within 5 minutes.
  3. Select whether you'd like to receive email notifications for new reviews. Then click the type of reviews you want to be alerted to. For example, you might select 1- or 2-star reviews so you can keep track of negative ratings. NotificationsReviews.png
  4. Select whether you'd like to receive notifications about Feedback responses by email, in the mobile app, or both. By default you'll receive alerts for all ratings. If you don't want to see a specific type of feedback, click the appropriate icon.NotificationsFeedback.png
  5. If you have set up Payments, select whether you'd like to receive email notifications for when a request is paid.NotificationsPayments.png

Turning on Desktop Notifications

  2. Select the types of messages you'd like to receive desktop notifications for.Desktopmessages1.png
  3. After you've turned on desktop notifications in your Podium account, you need to verify that your web browser will let Podium send you notifications.
  • If you're using Chrome, read their support page. While enabling push notification for Chrome, you’ll need to add Podium as an authorized site by providing this URL: https://app.podium.com:443.
  • If you're using another common browser, read their support documentation: Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
