Occasionally you may need to issue refunds, for example if your customer receives the wrong product or isn’t satisfied with the service you’ve provided. You can quickly process refunds right from the Payments dashboard.
To issue a refund:
- Go to Payments.
- Click Paid.
- Click the More options menu next to the payment you want to issue a refund for.
- Click Refund.
- The full amount of the payment is automatically entered on the refund. If you need to make a partial refund, you can change the amount.
- Select a reason for the refund.
- If necessary, you can add details or a note about the refund.
- Click Send refund.
The payment’s status will change to “Refunded.” Podium sends a text message to the customer telling them that a refund has been issued, including how much the refund is, and when they should be receiving the refund.
